TURKEY SHOOT
The 12th annual Turkey Shoot at IAC State Street
seen about 33 players vying for turkey, hams, etc.
Scott Banner edged Danny Shelton out for the Men's
Open win. Greg Cooper captured the Men's A over Eric
Brothers. Renny Wylie winning consolation. Men's B
had Joe Fuson winning over Jeff Smay. Men's C had
Alex Purcell followed by Jake Wylie and Coby Arff.
Eric Brothers won the all ages over Renny Wylie. Juniors
was led by Jake Wylie followed by Alex Purcell, Coby
Arff and Erik Wylie. Joan Swensen won the Women's
division.
Men's Open Doubles had Tony DeGiorgio and Chuck Stivison
winning over Steve Neighbors and Tammy Brown. Dave
Rivera and Jim Downing won Men's A over Renny Wylie
and Steve Purcell. Men's C Doubles were won by Coby
Arff and Alex Purcell. It's great how well the juniors
are doing. Definitely will need to get them over to
junior regionals next spring.
Thanks to everyone for playing and hope everyone
enjoyed or will enjoy their turkey and hams. One Day
Christmas entry forms are up in clubs and will go
out in mail next week. Hope to see everyone at the
Board tournament Dec. 1/3. |
